Privacy Policy

Version 2

Last updated: 17 August 2026

ManageU is currently developed and operated by an individual developer under the name "Easiora" ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the ManageU mobile app, the ManageU admin panel, and the manageu.easiora.com website (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

ManageU is a business-management app used by small business owners to track sales, expenses, stock, staff, contacts, and invoicing. Two kinds of people's information pass through the Service:

  • You, the account holder — the business owner or team member who signs up and uses the app.
  • The people you do business with — your customers, vendors, and employees, whose details you (not us) enter into the app so that you can run your business.

If you enter information about a customer, vendor, or employee into ManageU, you confirm that you have the right to share that information with us for the purpose of using the Service, and that you will tell them, where required by law, that their information is stored in an app like ManageU. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of any such information you enter, as further described in our Terms and Conditions. We do not independently verify the accuracy of information you enter about yourself, your business, or the people you do business with.

The Service is currently intended for businesses operating in India, and this Policy is written with Indian law in mind. If you access the Service from outside India, your information will still be collected, stored, and processed as described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

a) Account information

  • Email address (required to create an account and log in)
  • Name and profile information, if you sign in with Google
  • Phone number, if you choose to add one to your profile
  • A one-time password (OTP) sent to your email to verify sign-in — this is temporary and is not stored once it expires or is used
  • Your account status, app theme preference, and whether you've completed the in-app product tour

If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy governs how Google itself handles your information; we encourage you to review it separately.

b) Business (company) information you provide

  • Company name, legal name, registered address, country, and business currency
  • Tax details you enter for invoicing purposes, such as your GSTIN and applicable tax rates (e.g., CGST/SGST)
  • If you use ManageU for more than one business, the same account can hold multiple companies, each kept separate from the others

c) Information about your contacts, employees, and business activity

Everything below is data you choose to enter to run your business. We store it so the app can work, but it belongs to you:

  • Customers and vendors: names, addresses, and any other contact or business details you enter, tagged as a customer or vendor, along with any running balance
  • Employees: names, roles, salary and salary-history records, joining details, and current/past employment status
  • Attendance: daily attendance records (present, absent, or half-day) linked to an employee and a date
  • Transactions: amounts, type (income, expense, loan given, or loan taken), descriptions, dates, and the contact the transaction is linked to
  • Inventory: item names, quantities, prices, and stock-level information
  • Invoices: invoices generated from your transactions, including customer name and address, itemized amounts, tax breakdown, and your business's GSTIN, so the invoice can be shared as a document

d) Technical and usage information

  • The app version you're running, so we can tell you when an update is available
  • Crash and diagnostic reports (see "Crashlytics" in Section 4) if the app crashes or encounters an error
  • Basic request information collected automatically by our servers when the app or website communicates with us (such as timestamps and IP address), for security and troubleshooting

e) Advertising information (Android app only)

The Android version of the app may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your interests, unless you've limited ad tracking in your device settings. See Section 7 for more detail and how to opt out.

f) Information we do not collect

  • We do not ask for or store passwords — sign-in is done through a one-time code sent to your email or through Google Sign-In.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Create and manage your account, and let you sign in securely
  • Provide the core features of the Service — tracking transactions, inventory, employees, attendance, contacts, and generating invoices
  • Show your business summary on the dashboard (turnover, profit, stock levels, and team status)
  • Send you operational emails, such as your one-time sign-in code
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs
  • Notify you about app updates
  • Comply with our legal obligations
  • Show ads in the Android app to support the free version of the Service (see Section 7)

We do not use your business data — your customers, transactions, or invoices — to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service, under obligations to protect your data:
    • Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google verifies your identity and shares your email and basic profile with us.
    • Google Firebase Crashlytics — used to collect crash reports and diagnostic data so we can fix bugs. This may include device information and the state of the app at the time of a crash.
    • Google AdMob — used to serve ads in the Android app. See Section 7.
    • Cloud hosting and database providers — your account and business data are stored on secure, reputable third-party cloud infrastructure.
    • Email delivery providers — used solely to send you operational emails such as your sign-in code.
  • Legal reasons — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or the public.
  • Change of operator — if ManageU is ever transferred to a new operator or a registered business entity (for example, if it is incorporated into a company), your information may be transferred as part of that change. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your consent — for any other purpose, we'll ask you first.

Your business data — your transactions, contacts, employees, and invoices — is never shared with other ManageU users or made public. Only you (and any team member you've given access to a company) can see it.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active, so that the Service continues to work as expected. If you delete your account through the in-app "Delete Account" option, we permanently and irreversibly delete your account and the business data associated with it — including your companies, transactions, inventory, employees, attendance records, contacts, and invoices — except where we are required to retain certain information for a longer period to comply with a legal, tax, or accounting obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Crash reports and technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for diagnostic and security purposes and are periodically deleted.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app:

  • Access and correct — most of your account and business information can be viewed and edited directly within the app.
  • Delete your account — go to Profile > Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all associated business data. This action cannot be undone, and we cannot recover it once deleted.
  • Opt out of personalized ads — see Section 7.
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent to process information, you may withdraw it at any time; this will not affect processing that already took place.

For any request we can't handle directly in the app — such as a request relating to a customer or employee whose data was entered by someone else — please contact us using the details in Section 12.

If you are located in India, you may also exercise these rights, and raise any grievance about how we handle your personal data, with our Grievance Officer (see Section 12), in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7. Advertising and How to Opt Out

The Android version of the ManageU app shows banner ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the Service. AdMob may use device and advertising identifiers to show ads relevant to your interests. During development and testing, the app only ever shows Google's official test ads, never real ones.

You can limit ad personalization at any time:

  • On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads and turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (wording may vary by Android version).
  • You can also reset or limit your device's advertising identifier from the same settings menu.

Opting out means you'll still see ads, but they'll be less tailored to your interests. For more on how Google collects and uses this data, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services, both available at policies.google.com.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The ManageU admin panel (used by our internal team, not by regular app users) uses a single strictly-necessary, secure, HttpOnly cookie to keep an administrator signed in. This cookie cannot be read by JavaScript, is not used for tracking or advertising, and expires automatically. The public ManageU website does not use tracking or analytics cookies.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • No password storage — sign-in relies on a time-limited one-time code or Google Sign-In, so there is no password for anyone to steal.
  • Encrypted connections between the app, our servers, and our database.
  • Session tokens that expire automatically, and can be immediately invalidated if you sign out or if we detect suspicious activity.
  • Rate-limiting and abuse-prevention on our sign-in flow to guard against automated attacks.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately. You're also responsible for keeping your own device and account access secure — for example, by not sharing your sign-in codes and keeping your device's operating system up to date.

10. Children's Privacy

ManageU is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the authority to act on behalf of a business, to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in India, and our service providers may store or process information in other countries. Wherever your information is processed, we take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Our website may link to third-party sites, such as the Google Play Store. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

12. Contact Us / Grievance Officer

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise a right described above, or wish to raise a grievance about how we handle your personal data, please contact us at:

Email: support@manageu.easiora.com

As ManageU is currently operated by an individual developer rather than a registered company, the contact above also serves as the grievance contact for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We will acknowledge and respond to your request within a reasonable time, and in accordance with applicable law. This section will be updated with a named Grievance Officer and registered business address once ManageU is operated by a registered entity.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as an in-app notice, before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last revised. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy does not create any contractual rights beyond those set out in our Terms and Conditions. Any liability arising from our collection or processing of your information is subject to the limitation of liability set out in our Terms and Conditions, which apply to this Policy as well.
